I happened to be on a walk with a fellow photographer one day and he showed me the area and the bridge. I was locked into a single lense because I didn't want to hike in all my gear. We went across the old wooden bridge and I saw this awesome opportunity to get this shot. I wasn't sure the shot would come out well enough to create so much buzz around it.
